Group Facilitator Training- September

Join us to become a fully trained Group Facilitator. This training will prepare you to be a lead facilitator for our grief groups or work with children in any of our other program. 

You must attend both training and a one group night to be considered a Group Facilitator.

A suggested donation of $50 helps cover training costs—if this is a barrier, you are still warmly welcome to attend at no cost.

Saturday, September 13th Training Night at The Children's Grief Center

9am- 5pm

We will work through our facilitator training which will cover communication skills like reflective listening and participate in a blend of activities and discussion.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided!

Tuesday, September 16th: Midland Group Night at The Chidren's Grief Center

OR

Wednesday, September 17th: Bay City Group Night at Unity of Bay City 3736 State Street Rd.
5:30-8:30pm

Put your new skills to work, jumping right into group night! Time includes volunteer prep, group and dinner, and volunteer debrief. This is the start of the new group year.
